Halloween Celebrations

Make sure you take the children along to Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens for some spooky fun on Saturday 29 October between 1.30pm and 6pm.

There is plently of activities commencing throughtout the day including:

Liberty's Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre presents bird displays in the lower gardens between 1.30pm - 4.00pm.

Look out for the Heebie Jeebies, with their frightfully entertaining puppet tale which sees Joe searching for his cat in a haunted castle between 1.30pm - 5.30pm in the lower gardens.

Take part in the Trick or Treat Trail starting from behind the Bandstand between 1.30pm - 6.00pm.

The fancy dress competition starts at 4.30pm at the bandstand which is open to all ages so everyone can get involved!

There are also prizes for the best pumpkin in the pumpkin glow competition! Judging takes place at 5.30pm in front of the Bandstand.

Activities such as face painting, juggling, and arts and crafts all take place in the lower gardens from 1.30pm, and watch out for stilt walkers and jugglers who will be placed throughout the lower gardens.

There will also be fun fair rides on the Pier Approach between Saturday 22 October and Sunday 30 October, and additional inflatables in the Lower Gardens on Saturday 29 October.

Come and meet the Heart FM crew at their stand in the Lower Gardens.
‘Chill out with the Heart Angels in their alfresco zone, while kids can create arts and crafts in the creation station. Plus the Angels will also have lots of Heart prizes to be won’.
