Join us for this year’s spectacular Christmas Lights Procession! Kicking off the festive season on Friday 28th November, choose from one of two starting locations – either Horseshoe Common or The Triangle – and be there by 5.45pm for a 6pm start.
Santa, along with the stars of Bournemouth Pavilion’s swash-buckling pantomime, Peter Pan, will lead children and families through the town centre and into the Lower Gardens. See the official switch-on of the town’s Christmas lights and be there for the grand opening of Bournemouth’s Gardens of Light, featuring a dazzling display of award-winning Light Pods, ice rink and Santa’s Grotto.
In addition, Bournemouth Borough Council is supporting the ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’ message this winter and are asking children and families to dress as brightly as possible and illuminate themselves by bringing along their own lights along to the procession. So, get glowing and you could receive one of hundreds of free* goody bags being given away on the night and filled with glow-in-the-dark accessories including hi-vis jackets, glow sticks and flashing rings!
