Bourne Free is Bournemouth's LGBT Pride Festival. It is an annual celebration of all diversities that live in Bournemouth and the constant strive towards universal equality for all through entertainment and awareness.
Friday 11th July:
Triangle Arena: A free to enter evening of entertainment and fun in the Triangle Arena (6PM – 11PM). This is open to all ages and includes a Movie Screening of The Sound of Music, Live performances (Madonna, Lady Gaga & Rihanna Tribute with Diane James Hosting) & an over 18’s bar area. Flirt Café Bar providing onsite catering.
Saturday 12th July:
Parade: We start the festivities with a Parade starting at 11AM through the center of Bournemouth. All organizations, businesses, groups or individuals can enter for free. Why not come along and carry the flag.
Lower Gardens: Bandstand: (12:30PM-4:30PM) opened by the Mayor, this is free to all family entertainment with information stalls.
Triangle Arena: (12:30PM-11PM) Live performances from Stars of the 80's 90's 00's & 10's including Misha B, Damage and Kimberley Wyatt from the Pussy Cat Dolls. Flirt Café Bar providing onsite catering. Tickets only (available at www.bournefree.co.uk) Over 18's Venue with onsite bar. You could alsotreat yourself to VIP treatment in our Champagne Bar.
Sunday 14th July:
Triangle Arena: The local Metropolitan Community Church provide an open air service for all, no age restrictions are in force and this is free to attend (12NOON – 2PM).
Local Venues: Each venue will host entertainment during our Sunday tour.
Volunteering is a great opportunity to share your skills and life experience with others and at the same time helping charities, meeting others and building your CV.
Without volunteers Bourne Free would not be as successful as it is today and we appreciate all the time and effort that our volunteers contribute to us every year.
