Bournemouth is also home to some of the UK's biggest free festivals on the beach including the Bournemouth Wheels Festival, Bournemouth Air Festival and Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival.

The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) is Bournemouth's top concert and live music venue, which has hosted some of the top names in pop music from Example to Plan B and comedians including Jimmy Carr and Miranda Hart.

The Pavilion Theatre is an impressive art deco building which welcomes shows straight from London's West End.

Pavilion Dance is Bournemouth’s national dance house, offering world-class dance performances and workshops in their 200-seat theatre and has spacious studios.

In Poole, the Lighthouse is the largest arts centre outside of London. Set in an iconic building,the venue hosts a wide assortment of theatre, live acts and films.

On the other side of Bournemouth, The Regent Centre in Christchurch has a range of diverse events in their 1930s cinema, as well as a theatre and concert hall.
