If you’re feeling energetic or want to get fit and healthy, then why not try out one of Bournemouth’s many sporting and leisure activities.
For a relaxing, toning and strengthening workout, head down to Boscombe beach for Yoga on the Beach. Be guided by an instructor while looking out to sea in this unique Yoga class. There are also regular yoga sessions at Pavilion Dance, alongside a varied dance programme with over 40 different lessons each week for children and adults of all ages. The programme ranges from Applachian Clog to Reggaeton and from Butoh to Ballet.
Take to the waves with a wetsuit and surfboard – learn to surf like a pro with a lesson from one of the local surf schools. If surfing isn’t for you, take a seat on the beach and watch the lapping waves while others tryout the vast and varied selection of water sports.
Head towards the East of Bournemouth Pier and hire a bike. Cycle along the seafront from Bournemouth Pier to Boscombe Pier or cycle West towards the popular Sandbanks beach.
