Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway is a dual gauge 10¼" / 7¼" miniature railway running from its main station, Eastleigh Parkway, to Monks Brook Halt. Trains are normally steam hauled except the last trains of the day.

The return journey of just under 1¼ miles, takes about 15 - 20 minutes. Monks Brook Halt gives an opportunity to visit the lakes, children's playground or use the picnic tables adjacent to the Halt. Monks Brook Halt also allows passengers from the Monks Brook area of Eastleigh to board or alight from trains.

We have a souvenir shop stocking the full range of Thomas wooden and Take along die cast models, Tomy Thomas Toys plus Hornby and Bachmann electric trains. We sell them at manufacturers prices unlike a lot of places who mark them up!

The Railway and Lakeside Café open every weekend throughout the year daily mid July to mid September plus all school holidays 10.00am - 4.30pm (4pm during the winter).
