AJP Tours - Isle of Purbeck & Jurassic Coast Shuttle (half day tour - AM)

With years of experience in the tourism field, we provide tourists and international students with the opportunity to visit fantastic local destinations such as the Isle of Purbeck, the New Forest and the Jurassic Coast and further afield to Bath, Salisbury and Stonehenge.

All tours are led by an experienced tour guide, with the emphasis on seeing the places you want to see in a small group, at a relaxed pace and in an informed but fun environment.

Maps and detailed printed information will be provided, but please note that entrance fees are not included in any of our tours.

We use quality vehicles, fully equipped with three-point seat belts which are serviced and checked every eight weeks.

The Jurassic Coast has been designated a World Heritage site due to its outstanding geology which represents 185 million years of the Earth`s history.

The local stone, used in buildings as far afield as London and Rome, has been quarried for centuries. As well as stunning scenery, Purbeck offers a wealth of history and wildlife and a bygone sense of English culture.

This tour takes the Sandbanks ferry across to Studland and we drive via photogenic viewpoints to the village of Corfe Castle where, after a visit to the museum, you can choose to walk around the ruins of this Royal Castle and wander through the picturesque village itself.

We will experience the rolling hills of the Jurassic Coast, take a walk down to Durdle Door and over the cliff tops to Lulworth Cove, where, in addition to seeing the natural creation of the bay, we can sample a delicious cream tea near the beach or wander up to the Fossil Forest in search of traces of the past.

Departure will be from Bournemouth Travel Interchange at 8.30am or at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre (coach drop-off point, Westover Road) at 8.45am on the morning of departure.
Children aged 0-4 years travel free.
