VENUE CHANGE FOR THE BOURNEMOUTH TOURISM AWARDS

Ticket Success for Bournemouth Tourism Awards 2009

The Bournemouth Tourism Awards 2009 has, even in the middle of the recession, exceeded all expectations with tickets sales soaring.  This unexpected success has meant that the event has outgrown the original venue, the Highcliff Marriott. The event will now be staged at the Carrington House Hotel in Bournemouth to ensure that everyone in the industry can attend.

The date has not changed and guests will be welcomed at the prestigious event which celebrates the best of Bournemouth’s tourism industry at the Carrington House Hotel on Thursday 26th November at 6.45pm.

Mark Smith, Director of Tourism and Corporate Communications said, "We are extremely pleased that so many tourism businesses are able to join us to celebrate the successes of Bournemouth in 2009.  We would like to thank the Highcliff Marriott for the team’s professional help and support with the planning of the awards and also the Carrington House Hotel for hosting the larger event."

Over the past three years, the Bournemouth Tourism Management Board Tourism Awards has set a consistently high standard and it is delighted that this new larger venue will allow quality to be maintained without restricting attendance.
