Meyrick Park

This is a large park area surrounded by woodland. During the year it is used by the local rugby team The Oakmedians and as a family area for sports.
One of the major events held here each year is the Proms in the Park event performed by Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. The event is supported by thousands of visitors - all equipped with picnics and champagne to watch the evening of live orchestral music followed by a fireworks extravaganza.Other events here have included:

Hengistbury Head

A beautiful, natural, nature reserve at the end of our seven mile stretch of beach with rugged cliffs and fabulous views over to the Isle of Wight. Hengistbury Head dates back to the Iron Age and many areas are perfect for filming.Events held here include:

Bournemouth Town Centre

Bournemouth Town Centre hosts many different events and film crews throughout the year. The Town Centre boundary is defined by drawing lines at the seafront to the south, the Wessex Way to the north, at the top of Poole Hill to the west and at the railway station to the east. A large area that covers all of the main retail and business districts and not forgetting the large areas of residential property. Some of the events held in the Town Square include:

Bournemouth Gardens

Bournemouth has 2,000 acres of award winning parks and gardens and plays host to regular events throughout the year. The beauty of the Victorian gardens in Bournemouth is that they run straight through the main town centre and are totally pedestriansed. The Bourne Stream also runs parallel to the gardens creating a truly unique environment. During the summer months, people sunbathe, have picnics and watch the bands performing on the bandstand. The gardens play host to all sorts of different events through the year including:

Seven Miles of Beach

Bournemouth has seven miles of soft, golden sand and is frequently used for filming and summer events.The National Volleyball Championships are held on Bournemouth Beach along with the Bournemouth Triathlon.
