Head chef Francis Baumer describes his food as: “Classically British/French cuisine with modern twists: Fine dining in a brassiere style. Our food is full of flavour and uses as much local produce as possible. I am very proud of our achievements so far, but we are always looking to push forward and raise our standards”. To compliment the menu, new and old world wines stand shoulder to shoulder to offer customers the best possible choice.

Music is the final piece of the jigsaw. 1812 has carved itself a great reputation for its live music which adorns the stage for the perfect night out.
Every Friday and Saturday night 10pm to midnight, and Sunday afternoon 1pm til 3.30pm

The 1812 special events have seen some amazing jazz and funk musicians attending some truly unforgettable nights with Roy Ayers and The James Taylor Quartet and The Real People bringing the house down.

Come and experience 1812 Live with free entry to regular bands such as BIG TRAINS HAYMAKER, ,Lemongrove, Not Just Sax, Westbourne Quartet, Geoff Lai Special, Sam and Craig, Mighty Joe Young, The Good Foot Band, BB3, Baffana, Zigaboo Kick, Scarmause and many more playing a mix of Jazz, Funk, Soul and Swing.
